What's In Season This Summer?
By now we're well into the season of abundance: leafy greens for days, freshly bunched root crops, lovely legumes and greenhouse specials - it's all go in the veggie world!
2026 has brought with it some of our favourite fruits and veggies: strawberries are growing faster than we can pick them, and oh boy, do they taste divine!
Nearby, in the greenhouse, we are up to our eyeballs (literally and figuratively) in cucumbers and tomatoes.
Basil is making the farm smell heavenly, and our eggplants, capsicum and jalapeños are on the brink of being ready for harvest - stay tuned!

Out in the paddocks, colourful carrot bunches have just re-entered the fray, joining our classic bunched orange carrots and beetroot.
Bunched red and brown onions are the pick of the day (and they're a double whammy: use the tops like you would a spring onion for an extra allium punch).
We're still in our new-season spuds - that is to say, they still have their lovely thin, delicate skins that make peeling unnecessary (hooray for small wins!).
Agria and Jersey Benne varieties are leading the charge, and will soon be followed by our main-season spuds - for which we have a huge range of fun colours and flavours… just wait and see!
As always, our salads and lettuces are lovely and lush - perfect for a refreshing summer salad, wrap filling or hamburger layer. They're joined by our year-round performers: radishes, pak choi and spring onions.
About to enter the mix are green beans (in fact, you'll be seeing them in your boxes this week!) and, later in the season, corn - a classic summer favourite. Its almost too much to choose from!
